To have those behinds look perky and ready for next season, I’ve been doing the abductors exercise. This exercise triggers the group of muscles located on the buttocks including gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, and tensor fascia lata.
The abductors’ main function is to abduct or separate your legs away from the midline of the body. This occurs during any athletic movement requiring you to move from side to side such as playing the infield in baseball, defense in basketball and football, and ice skating.
At the gym, there is an abductor machine that will help shape your behind. Here’s a video of me, hitting my new PR – 185 lbs! Have fun!
